“This has been my dream for two years since I lost to Rachel in Korea. I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life, to be the World Champion,” said an ecstatic Poveda after her victory.

Despite a valiant effort, they couldn’t overcome the formidable England duo Bedford/Choong and finished second in this category.
