Hanuman Pravish, an exceptional young badminton player from Mauritius, recognized the importance of preparing for life beyond sports. As a semifinalist at the All Africa Junior Championship 2022 in mixed and men’s doubles, Pravish enrolled in the program last year. Through the Athlete Certificate, he found the course to be both interesting and helpful. It not only enhanced his badminton skills on and off the court but also taught him the importance of discipline. This program offers a unique balance between sports and studies, emphasizing the need to give full focus to both areas. Looking ahead, Pravish aspires to pursue a career related to badminton. Coaching, in particular, is an area he is eager to explore further.
Enhancing Knowledge and Giving Back
Cheong Kwok Khuen, a junior player from Malaysia, was grateful for the opportunity to enhance his knowledge through the program. As one of the scholars in 2020, he expressed his thankfulness to Carnegiecentre for recommending the online course.
