Badminton Pan America

For the first time in history, Para badminton will be a part of the Parapan American Games, and the draws have been finalized to determine the path to the podium for our athletes.

Schedule and Results

The Team Managers Meeting was recently held, with delegates from each country present. The details for the shuttle to fly have been defined, and the draws for Lima 2019 have been made for each event. Our players now know who they will face in their first matches.

Men’s Singles (SL3, SL4, SU5, SS6)

The Men’s Singles events will start with the Group Stage, followed by the Semifinals and Finals. The same format applies to the Women’s Singles WH2 and Men’s Doubles WH1-WH2 events.

Women’s Singles SU5 and Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5

These events will be played using the Round Robin System.

For every event, only one third place will be awarded, and a match for 5th place will take place if necessary. The meeting was led by BWF International Delegate, Mr. Enrique Charadan, Lima 2019 Sport Manager, Mr. Martin Del Valle, and Lima 2019 Referees Mr. Jeff Bell and Mr. Federico Valdez.
