Kieran Merrilees and Kirsty Gilmour are set to carry the hopes of the host nation in the upcoming Commonwealth Games’ quarter-finals. Both players have shown promise in their respective singles competitions, with Merrilees facing a tough challenge against England’s Rajiv Ouseph in the Men’s Singles. Gilmour, on the other hand, will be focusing on her solo success as she takes on Michelle Chan from New Zealand in the Women’s Singles.

Scotland’s chances continue to look up in the doubles events, with Robert Blair making an impact in both the Men’s and Mixed disciplines.
