Pan Am Para badminton players from Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and the United States showcased their skills and achieved remarkable success at the Pan Am Para badminton Championships in Cali, Colombia, from November 22 to 26.

Celebrating the Achievements

The championships witnessed outstanding performances from athletes who clinched medals and secured their place on the prestigious Pan Am podiums. Among the notable victories, Pilar Jauregui from Peru, the World Champion, attained gold in Singles WH2 and Women’s Doubles WH1-WH2 with Jaqueline Burgos. Moreover, Jauregui partnered with Rodolfo Cano from Brazil to secure another gold in Mixed Doubles WH1-W2.

Giuliana Poveda and Nilton Quispe, the runners-up at the World Championships Tokyo 2022, outshined their competitors and emerged victorious in Mixed Doubles SH6.
