Chinese Taipei’s Lee Chia Hsin continues her impressive performance at the tournament, securing victories in both Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles. In Singles, she defeated Croatia’s Maja Pavlinic, while partnering with Kanta Tsuneyama from Japan for a convincing win in Mixed Doubles against Krzystof Jakowczuk (Poland) and Clara Azurmendi (Spain).

Pavlinic initially put up a strong fight against Lee in their Singles match, but Lee’s dominance grew as the game progressed, resulting in a quick 21-17 21-13 victory. Later, Lee and Tsuneyama displayed their exceptional teamwork, overpowering Jakowczuk and Azurmendi with a comfortable 21-10 21-10 lead.

Unlike the previous day, today’s matches did not see any major upsets. Qin Jinjing, another player from China, defeated Ukraine’s Vladyslava Lesnaya. However, unless Lee faces a setback in her final group match against Lesnaya in Group C, Qin’s chances of challenging for the title are slim.

In Group H, He Bing Jiao from China faced a momentary setback as she lost her opening game against Austria’s Janine Lais. However, He quickly regained her stride and allowed Lais only 14 more points in the next two games (17-21 21-11 21-3).

Akane Yamaguchi from Japan and Busanan Ongbumrungpan from Thailand, both top contenders, secured comfortable victories against their opponents. Yamaguchi defeated Sri Lanka’s Thilini Pramodika Hendahewa 21-13 21-6, while Ongbumrungpan dominated France’s Lole Courtois with a 21-8 21-7 win.

Meanwhile, Korea’s Seo Seung Jae fell short against top seed Shi Yuqi from China with a 21-15 21-11 defeat. Lu Chia Hung from Chinese Taipei secured a comfortable victory over Mexico’s Luis Ramon Garrido, winning 21-8 21-12.

An interesting singles match took place between Daniel Guda from Australia and Wolfgang Gnedt from Austria in Group G. Guda appeared to have the advantage, but at 9-4 in the opening game, he suffered a sudden ankle injury. Fortunately, the issue did not persist, and Guda managed to secure a one-game lead. Gnedt fought back in the second game, resulting in a tight win. However, in the closing stages of the third game, Guda pulled away and registered a 21-14 20-22 21-17 victory.

Later in the day, Guda partnered with Indonesia’s Ruselli Hartawan and secured their second win, defeating Enrique Penalver (Spain) and Chlorie Cadeau (Seychelles) with a score of 21-12 21-19.

A couple of the Mixed Doubles matches proved to be close contests. Lee Cheuk Yiu (Hong Kong) and Magda Konieczna (Poland) narrowly defeated Dipesh Dhami (Nepal) and Busanan Ongbumrungpan (Thailand) with a score of 22-20 18-21 23-21 in Group E.
