In the other semi-final of the Women’s Singles category, Bae Yeon Ju from Korea will compete against Chinese qualifier Yao Xue. Meanwhile, the Mixed Doubles event sees top seeds Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying of Malaysia ease past their compatriots Tan Aik Quan and Lai Pei Jing to secure a place in the semi-finals.
